A couple of weeks ago Jason and I celebrated our 4month anniversary. I know, I know, it's hardly a milestone and I can just hear what you're saying: just wait till you've been married for 7 years and then see what you say! But I just wanted to blog about some of the things I'm thankful for...
I have a really nice home and even if we struggle a little sometimes to keep on top of things, I'm still a whole lot better off than a whole lot of people.I can make a pizza from scratch and most of the toppings I can get from Jason's veggie garden!

My health may not be the greatest, but I'm not dead!I married my best friend who loves me just the way I am, flaws and all.
+he does the dishes without me asking+
+he grows his own veggies+
+he does his own washing+
+he loves my cooking, no matter how it turns out+
+he cheers me up when I'm grumpy+
+he brings me breakfast in bed when I'm weary+
+he tells me I'm beautiful even when that's the last thing I feel I am+
+he encourages me in my dreams+
+he tells me to hope when I feel useless+
+he loves me when I feel unlovable+
and yet...
I have a really big God who loves me and thinks about me much more than Jason ever can or will.
When all is lost - He is there to find us
When all is gone - He remains to be with us
When all is turned to custard - He is there to turn things around for good
When we have gone astray - He is there to turn us back to Him
When the world is dying - He is the life that renews
When sin and darkness threaten to overcome and overwhelm us - He forgives & has already won the victory for us at the cross!!
